The World Largest Hindu Temple

Akshardham Temple

According to the Guinness large World Record the great Akshardham Temple is the largest Indian Hindu temple in the world but this is disputed by at least three other temples in great India which are all claimed to be the largest temple in the world. These great temples are often part of a larger complex which makes it even less best clear. In this list we will focus on the main temple  to determine which is the best largest temple in the word.

A spectacular archaeological site in place of northeastern Lebanon. From the first century BC and over a period of 2 centuries, the great old Romans built three temples they are  Jupiter, Bacchus and Venus. Created to be the best largest temple in the Roman empire, the temple of Jupiter was lined by 54 best massive granite columns. Only six of these titanic columns remain standing but even they are incredibly most impressive. The wonderful preserved temples at the site is the great Temple of Bacchus built in 150 AD. The temple distance is 69 meters long and 36 meters wide. Its huge walls are adorned by 42 Corinthian columns, 19 of which remain upright in proper position standing 19 meters (62 feet) high.
